Turn Your Life Into Art with Caveat Magister and the Transcend Vocal Ensemble!

Join your Burning Man community for a meet up and participatory art experience with special guest Caveat Magister - Burning Man Philosopher, author and cultural instigator!

In his new book Turn Your Life Into Art, published by Burning Man, Caveat says that the San Francisco underground art scene out of which Burning Man emerged developed unique techniques to create transformative experiences out of nothing but good ideas and participation - no big budgets or special effects needed.

At Eris Evolution on, he’ll be joined by Transcend, New York's first trans/gender-expansive classical vocal ensemble. Together they’ll create a series of psychomagical musical experiences for you to participate in! Making music together is the original communal art form, and with your help Caveat and Transcend will blend music, storytelling, and participation to create something new and extraordinary!

Caveat will also discuss the nature of these experiences, and how they can be created by anyone, anywhere - but why big companies and marketing firms will never be as good at it as community artists.

All are welcome! Drinks and food are available, and there will be a DJ and Dancing after the meet-up is over.

Eris Evolution will open at 6 for mingling and meet-ups. The art experience starts at 7:15. Dancing starts at 9.
